Even in the face of the growing persecution in India, SC Director Anup Hiwale is committed to establishing the CBI satellite campus in Dehradun, Uttanrakhand and to bringing the CBI program to the prisons in the northern region of the country. Several local prison officials have already expressed opposition because they have seen very rapid acceptance of faith among the prisoners as a result of hearing the Word of God. In spite of the resistance, Director Hiwale continues to preach and teach in the prisons and to train believers from area churches as Instructors who will disciple the CBI students as they grow in their newfound faith.
God has been giving us strength, in spite of all the troubles. We are faithfully presenting the Gospel and teaching the Word of God to prisoners.
