| HOW GIVE-A-CAR WORKS |

Deliver your running vehicle, along with the title, to the CBI offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. |
| 2. |
CBI will give you an "In-Kind" gift receipt for your tax-deductible donation. |
| 3. |
As of January 1, 2005, new IRS regulations are in effect that distinguish between three levels of donated vehicles, with their own rules for determining their tax-deductible value to you. |

Level 1: |
Those worth up to $500: No changes here. YOU determine the fair market value of your vehicle for a tax deduction of up to $500. |

Level 2: |
Those worth over $500: You may deduct the amount that CBI receives when we sell your vehicle. (Cheaper vehicles typically go to the auction, while more expensive vehicles may be retailed out.) |

Level 3: |
If CBI has a ministry use for your vehicle, you may determine and deduct the value of vehicles worth up to $5,000. For those worth more than $5,000 an external agent must make an appraisal (we'll help you find one), and you may deduct the entire amount. |

One-hundred percent of the proceeds go to purchase Bible study lessons and Bibles for people in prison. |

Note, the more expensive the vehicle, the larger your tax deduction, and the more people in prison who will be helped!
